Knowing when you are in love isn’t always simple to process.

Consistency

This goes hand in hand with time, Rome wasn’t built in a day.

You find yourself thinking about this person more and more. They are becoming a big part of your daily life. You make regular plans to meet up and spend quality time with each other. They are the last person you think about before you go to sleep

You start to make future plans and discuss what you both want from your future. If this is just a crush rather than being in love, you might find it more difficult to work out what you see for your future.

Communication flows

Your conversations flow, but you’re not opening up or letting your guard down.

If you are not able to speak freely about your thought it could well just be a crush. You would want to be able to speak about everything with someone you love, whether you are going to be judged or not. There shouldn’t be any aspect of fear of speaking freely and openly.

Being able to discuss literally everything is important if your relationship is going to move forward.

Interests aline

Having the same hobbies or general interests could be very helpful in getting to know each other.

But you don’t need to be interested in exactly the same things to fall in love. Opposites attract after all.

As long as you are interested in each other and listen and talk about your past times, that is more important than sharing hobbies. Plus it can also be good to have separate interests so you have your own space at times. If when you are apart you are still thinking about this other person this is a good indication that you want them to be a big part of your life.
