Jana Reinhardt is a hand crafted sustainable jewellery brand.
They use 100% recycled gold and 100% recycled sterling silver to create their jewellery.
Gold mining is one of the most destructive industries in the world. They are conscious that none of their gold is newly mined, and only work with responsible jewellery council suppliers.
Maintaining their eco-friendly attitude with the packaging materials. Everything is 100% recyclable and made from recycled materials too.
Jana Reinhardt
Jana Reinhardt herself works alongside her husband Ross hand making the pieces. Collectively they have over 50 years of experience in making jewellery. Jana set up the business herself initially and later on Ross joint her in their seaside studio.
Both Jana and Ross feel strongly about animal rights and donate a considerable portion of their sales to charities.
Already having partnered with a significant number of well-known charities such as PETA and Keep The Ban. They only intend to help more and more with their jewellery pieces.
Being the boss of their own business they enjoy spending time with their family. They have daughters and 2 family dogs which they take for long walks in the countryside.
Out Of Africa Collection
The out of Africa collection is inspired by the wildlife, rich colours and architecture of Africa.
The little animals in the collection are all hand carved.
A number of rings, necklaces and earrings, which can also have gems set into them if desired. These are set into the jewellery by Ross, this is his forte.
Each piece comes with a 5-year guarantee and a lifetime repair service.
If you are looking for a more personal touch, there is an engraving option on a number of the pieces in the collection
A number of the animals symbolise specific traits. For example, the Lioness and her cub symbolise motherhood. The rhino necklace symbolises inner strength and the elephant with its upwards-facing trunk symbolises prosperity.
Each piece would make an extremely sentimental gift as well as an investment for the future because of the precious metals used to make them.
