Placing the order was simple and the speed of shipping can be as quick as the next day. This is great if you are looking for a last-minute present. I know there is Amazon Prime but I’ve noticed so many items on there aren’t even next-day guaranteed any more.

My first impressions of the hoodie blanket are how soft the material is. The outside is a silky fleece-like material and the inside is a fluffy sherpa material. It feels like it should cost a lot more purely because of the luxurious feeling material.

The size comes as a one size fits all, and I believe the biggest fit would be classed as 6XL. That does cover a really broad size range which is quite impressive so the smaller you are the baggier the fit it will be.

The functionality of the blanket makes sense as to why people wear them outside.

It has a massive kangaroo pouch-style front pocket and cuffed sleeves. The cuffed sleeves are nice and stretchy to accommodate different size wrists. This is also a good structuring look for the hoodie blanket, makes me feel less swamped wearing it.

 

I do wear it more than just around the house. It’s practical for dog walks, the school run or nipping out to your local shops.

The range of colours means there is something for pretty much everyone’s taste. Some bolder, brighter colours for the more confident wearing or plain black is also an option.

After a few times wearing it, I did get a bit dirty and just popped it into the washing machine. I wash pretty much all my washing at 30 degrees and this was no exception. Washed up well and I just air-dried on the clothes horse. You can apparently tumble dry them but I don’t have a tumble dryer so couldn’t test that aspect. The inside wasn’t as fluffy as when it was brand new but it was still just as soft and felt no different while wearing it.
